Leanne Matlow is a teacher, Special Education Resource teacher, CBT counsellor and is a Professional Colleague of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She is the author of Thinking About Thoughts, which is recommended reading for parents on KidsMentalHealth.ca. and was awarded a Silver Medal by Mom’s Choice Awards. Her second book, TELL ME! stresses the importance of openness and honesty when a family member suffers from anxiety. Sheri worked for 14 years in the Roots of Empathy program as an Empathy Specialist where she helped increase social/emotional competence among adults and children, increase empathy, and decrease bullying and poor parenting cycles. She earned her Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior Division from York University and has a specialized interest in parenting and children. Sheri has also completed the Life Coaching Certificate, Part 1, at the Adler Institute. Presently, Sheri is working in the Real Estate industry where she is utilizing her specialized educational background and skills to help her clients navigate the process of buying and selling. Often, real estate transactions are a very exciting and happy experience. However, they can also be an incredibly stressful undertaking due to divorce, aging parents and loss. Naomi Epstein is an Educational Coach and an Ontario certified educator with over 20 years teaching experience at the middle school and high school level, specializing in physical sciences, mathematics, and the integration of technology in instruction and learning.
