My favourite drink in the world, next to coffee, is Hot Chocolate. Lately, I’m ashamed to admit, I’ve been making the instant packet kind. The other night, as I was stirring my nighttime chocolaty treat, I nodded my head from shame. I thought, oh come on, Sharon – you can do better! And I can. It just takes a bit of research and experimentation.
Off I went to my laptop where I searched and searched for the best healthy hot chocolate. Most importantly, the recipe I would choose had to be simple to make, without too many ingredients. As you know, every recipe I share with you all must be ridiculously easy, not to mention tasty.
Bingo! I found it. Tried it. Added a few extra things, said “OMG. Happiness!” Out loud. And so here I am sharing it.
I have to admit that researching hot chocolate recipes was quite exciting. Experimenting with the ingredients, was actually fun! Imagine that! This hot chocolate recipe originally came from @eathappyfeelgood. With a little more of this and a lot more of that, I have to say that I think I mastered the best healthy hot chocolate I have ever tasted.
