Meet Sharon

Author of Me and My So-Called Friends. Founder and CEO of Brave The Waves –  A Program for Building Resiliency.

After receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Concordia University’s Communications Studies program in Montreal, Quebec and a Diploma from Algonquin College’s Advertising program in Ottawa, Ontario, Sharon began her career working as a copywriter in the advertising industry. After having her first child, she began to work on her first novel Me and My So-Called Friends and then had two more children. This lead to a very very busy life, that inspired her to create Day Ja View, the Ultimate Family Calendar. At the same time, she continued working on her novel and as her children developed, so did the storyline. Once published and distributed, the feedback was tremendous. Clearly,Me and My So-Called Friends resonated with readers and their parents and triggered a need for additional related resources which was the genesis of Brave The Waves, A Program for Building Resiliency. Sharon lives in Toronto with her husband, Gordie and their three children, Josh, Adam, and Olivia.
