Ever come home ravishing and you don’t know what to eat? Do you need a little something until dinner? Need the perfect post-workout snack?
Look no further than this recipe I am about to share with you: The Yummiest, healthiest Protein balls!
Is it easy?
There are just a few ingredients in the yummiest, healthiest protein balls. A little measuring and mixing and in no time, you will be snacking on these babies. Most importantly, if I say it’s easy, it is. I am no cook and I own that. I am still feeling like a hero after I made these scrumptious chicken balls.
A freakin’ hero.

Are they tasty?
My 16-year-old daughter recently came home after a long day and was starving. “What can I eat?” She asked. I handed her one of the Yummiest, Healthiest Protein Balls and she said these fine words after the first bite. “Wow – these are good!”
She’s my toughest critic!
Are they good for you?
The nut butter and large flake oats check off all of the boxes from any registered dietitian. The protein powder that I use is called @Truvani and it is plant-based, USDA organic, easy to digest, and tastes delicious. Finally, if you use molasses, it is a fantastic source of iron, selenium, and copper, which helps keeps your bones healthy.
Ingredients
1 cup of large flake oats, blended into a flour. 2/3 cup of nut butter of choice. 1/4 cup of molasses or honey. 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder of choice. Unsweetened coconut flakes for dipping.
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients together. Add 1/4 cup of water. Mix some more. Form into balls and dip each one in the coconut flakes. Line the balls up on a cookie sheet and put them in the fridge for an hour.

Enjoy!
Where did I get this recipe? Inspired by the very famous @roseriseman and created by your truly.
