I am loving this lip gloss by @heybabecosmeticsinc!
Since my teens, a lip gloss has been my go-to pick-me-up for any occasion. I gave my lips a shmear when you know who rang the doorbell. The perfect finish to any makeup look and the savior for my lips from our brutely cold Canadian weather. With a little swipe of lip gloss, all is taken care of and it’s somehow a little more fun to smile.
In the book, Me and My So-Called Friends, Lizzie, the main character is a fan of lip gloss, too! 😉
Want to know why I’m loving this lip gloss?
It all comes down to the design of the product. The packaging is just right – it fits into the front pocket of my jeans or jacket incognito. The way it feels on my lips – smooth as silk and not sticky at all. The colours compliment many skin tones and you can even layer on top of your favourite lipstick. These babies are even enhanced with a natural vanilla flavour. Yum! Lip glosses from @heybabecosmeticsinc checks all these boxes off.
All products are made in Canada and best of all, a portion of the proceeds goes towards not one, but TWO charities.
1. The Charles Krowitz Burkett’s Lymphoma Fund at Princess Margaret Hospital @thepmcf
2. The Allen David Abbott Scar Wars Fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital @unityhealthto

How did Hey Babe Cosmetics get here?
The creator and CEO Nicole Abbot has thought about creating her own cosmetic line for years, but the timing wasn’t right. Abbot’s journey is a story and a half. Grab a tissue and read all about it here. It was not an easy ride, indeed. But she’s here. Thriving. And enjoying every minute.
The colours and names
Presently, there are three different shades. Maddie Babe, bestselling soft pink with opal shimmer. Cloud Nine: every day, all-day nude. Risa Babe: Creamy, baby pink. All apply like a dream. Smooth, silky, and not too sticky.
I am a proud owner of the Maddie Babe and Risa Babe. Named after her daughter Maddie and best friend Risa.
Putting on lip gloss never felt more meaningful.
