You know that magical time? 10:30 AM? Or is it 3:00 PM? Or 8:00 PM? It’s time for a snack attack! Can you hear it?
It’s your stomach and it’s growling! The bad news is, your next meal is hours away. What are you going to do?
Plan ahead!
Before you begin your day, always make sure you’ve got something to munch on that is… wait for it – healthy, because the last thing you want to do is eat a donut and spend the next hour fighting to keep your eyes open. Sugar will do that to you!
We’ve got some great snack attack ideas to take with you on your daily adventures!
What to eat?
If you are not allergic, take advantage of all that nuts have to offer. Almonds are loaded with antioxidants, vitamin E and healthy fats and fiber to keep you full.
Walnuts are full of antioxidants as well and have many health benefits. For starters, walnuts are a super plant source of Omega 3’s, supports your digestive system and may decrease inflammation, which is the root of many diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.
Reducing inflammation also plays a role in Brazil nuts. They contain Selenium which helps those who have mood disorders, such as anxiety. Make sure not to eat more than two Brazil nuts a day – too much Selenium can have – no pun intended – nutty side effects.

If nuts are not an option, but still like the idea of something that tastes like peanut butter, try @wow_butter with a few apple slices.
String cheese, dried fruit, cut-up vegetables, yogurt tubes, and fresh fruit are other awesome options. A reusable @stasherbag can keep all of these goodies fresh and can help #SaveWhatMatters and are dishwasher safe, oven safe, and Microwaveable too! You can pick them up at @ecoexistence.

All it takes is a few moments to plan ahead with some snacks stashed in your bag. And maybe a few extra to share with friends. Not everyone is as organized as you are! 😉
